Program Overview

The Locksmith School is a private vocational training provider offering hands-on instruction in residential, automotive, and commercial lock systems. This program combines guided learning with in-person, hands-on instruction to ensure students gain practical experience using real tools, lock systems, and industry-standard techniques. Training is focused on job-ready skills that can be applied in entry-level locksmith positions or independent service work.

Our program delivers practical, workforce-aligned skills designed to prepare individuals for entry into the locksmith trade, career transition opportunities, or self-employment pathways. Key skills covered:

Program Outcomes

Training focuses on real-world application. Licensing requirements, where applicable, vary by state. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate proper use of locksmith tools and equipment

Total Program Hours: 120 Hours

• Online Pre-Training (80 hours): Foundational knowledge, terminology, and procedures

• In-Person Hands-On Training (24 hours): Instructor-led practical training conducted over (3) consecutive days

• Skills Assessment & Reinforcement (16 hours): Demonstration of competency and applied practice
